Here are my favorite books of 2019.
Why We Sleep
by Matthew Walker
This book is a game changer. If you read one book from this list, I would recommend this. It is a bit overkill IMO, but still it changed my life for the better.
Thus Spoke the Plant by Monica Gagliano 
I recommended this to a lot of friends. Mind boggling scientist’s story of communicating with plants.
Stillness is the Key by Ryan Holiday
Highly recommended, great for shifting perspective and creative process.
In Tune: Music as the Bridge to Mindfulness by Richard Wolf
Beautiful read for musicians and/or mediators.
Conscious by Annaka Harris
By far the most approachable and still mind-bending book about consciousness I’ve read. Loved. A real life scifi journey.

The final book from one of my favorite authors. Filled with real wisdom and gratitude.

Absolutely loved this. If you are looking for some heady, beautiful fiction, this is my favorite in a long time. Can’t recommend enough. (He wrote the movie ‘Arrival’)
Polishing the Mirror by Ram Dass
Revisited this this week after Ram Dass passed, more potent than ever.
Consciousness Medicine by Francois Bourzat/Kristina Hunter 
By far the best and most approachable book about of the therapeutic use of psychedelics I’ve read.
Mescaline by Mike Jay
This one blew me away and I will read again. There is so much wisdom and history about altered states of consciousness from the beginning of time until today, it’s really psychedelic Sapiens
