Opt-out of the noise

It’s ok to opt-out of the noise.

There is an infinite waterfall of distraction available at all times.

Playing whack-a-mole with incoming tasks weakens our ability to focus on one thing for an extended period.

Deep creativity requires chunks of time focused on only one task.

Consciously deciding to prioritize the work that matters over the noise is a profoundly important practice.
